We’re proud to reissue Heroes & Heretics on vinyl for the first time, featuring a special edition 7” of two songs captured live for PBS North Carolina’s Shaped by Sound.

Known for their incendiary performances and rootsy swagger, Town Mountain revisits two early fan favorites from their 2007 album—“Ruination Line” and “Struck It Rich”—breathing new life into them with honky-tonk grit, country swing, and Appalachian soul.

Recorded during a special taping of PBS NC’s Shaped by Sound, these performances showcase the band’s evolution, incorporating drums, pedal steel, and a deeper dynamic range while staying true to the spirit of the originals.
