The record, built from songs spanning his decades-long career, was made with his brother,\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eTim Haggerty\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eon keyboards and bass, and nephew\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAaron Haggerty\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eon drums.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHaggerty built his reputation as guitarist for\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.jambase.com\/band\/sons-of-champlin\" class=\"band-link sc-band-link\"\u003eSons of Champlin\u003c\/a\u003e, a San Francisco band known for blending rock with R\u0026amp;B and a horn section. The group emerged just after the rise of acts like Jefferson Airplane, the Grateful Dead, Big Brother and the Holding Company and Quicksilver Messenger Service. Jerry Garcia was among those who took notice of Haggerty's guitar talents, once describing him as “a unique and original player, who is highly inventive, incorporating the tone of rock and the harmonies of jazz.”\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e“Throughout my musical career I’ve been primarily known as the lead guitarist for the seminal ‘60s and ‘70s band, the Sons of Champlin,” Terry Haggerty said. “I have wanted to do a CD of my songwriting for a while now, and here I have the opportunity to do just that. My brother and I, with help from his son, Aaron, have taken my favorite tunes, reimagined and replayed them.
